Greetings Huguenot Families,
We would like to thank all of our students for a great week at school last week as we celebrated the Senior Installation and a very positive atmosphere at our home football game. Go Falcons!!!!
Homecoming info:
*There will be a presentation of Homecoming candidates on Oct. 25 with voting taking place on Oct. 26.
*The Homecoming Pep-Rally will take place on Friday, Oct. 27.
*The Homecoming game will take place on Friday, Oct. 27.
No bags in the venue except for a 1 gallon zip lock bag (1 per guest allowed)
All individuals are subject to search
Individuals 17 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult
No outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue.
*The Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Huguenot High School. Security procedures will be in place.
*Additional Spirit Week information, ticket information, and guest form access will be shared soon.
*Students who are unable to meet school expectations between now and homecoming week may not be able to participate in homecoming activities as directed by administration.
Testing:
* Writing SOL testing will take place over the next two weeks Tuesday-Friday. We do not anticipate any bell schedule changes. Students who are taking the tests have been notified and we have been holding SOL boot camps and review sessions both in classes and during the school day. Please reach out to your students’ teachers or school counselors with questions.
Hats/Hoodies/Ski Masks in school:
* Per the SCORE (Student Code of Responsible Ethics), this is a reminder that students are not permitted to wear head gear in doors at Huguenot High School with the acception of those affiliated with religious practices. Information concerning the dress code can be found on page 19 for the RPS SCORE: rmd.me/tV5x4Dc7g3t
We will be working with students to reintroduce this expectation at Huguenot High School over the next week.
