This week!

Huguenot High School Families,

We have a busy final week of school ahead of us. It's hard to imagine we are already at the end of the school year. Here are this week's announcements:
*Underclassman Awards/SOL Pass Field Day*
Tuesday morning we will be celebrating underclassmen who are receiving academic awards. In the afternoon students who recieved an award, and/or, passed an SOL this year will also be participating in our HHS Field Day Celebration. All students who are not eligible to participate in these events will need to report to class as scheduled. If you have been contacted and not yet filled out the permission form, or believe your student is eligble for the event, please click the link to sign the permission form.
Permission Form:
*Chromebook Collection*
We will be continuing to collect Chromebooks this week. Students, please remember to continue to bring your Chromebooks, chargers, and pouches to school if you have not already handed them in so that we can collect them. While we expect our students to be present on the 28th, 29th, and 31st, if students are planning to be away from school on any of the days this last week of school, please make sure that your Chromebooks are returned. If you are not called down by a class, but need to return your Chromebook please do so in the Media Center to Ms. Layne or Mr. Murray. Chromebooks can also be handed in, at the front office during buisness hours.
*Graduation is May 30 at 12PM*
A reminder to all students and families that Huguenot High School is closed May 30. Ascynchronous assignments may be given by teachers. Seniors are reminded to check the Senior Class Page for any information related to Graduation including picture information.
*Last Day of School is May 31*

We hope that everyone enjoys their week.

EOY updates/reminders

**Makeup SOLs and expedited retakes are this week! Please send your child to school each day to receive additional review (remediation) and to test. Have your child check his or her emails regarding updates to testing as that is our main mode of communciation. If you have questions concerning your child's SOL testing status, please contact his or her teacher or school counselor.

**May 21 is Last Day for Seniors to Attend Class**
The last day for Seniors to attend school is Tuesday, May 21. (They still need to come prior to 10:30am on May 22nd and report to the audiorium if you they are participating in graduation) School personel will communicate to Seniors who are not able to participate in graduation due to the need to complete re-testing to meet diploma/graduate requirements. These plans may include summer school depending on each individual situation. There is a summer school graduation ceremony for students who require more time and meet diploma requirements in RPS summer school programs.

**May 30 Schedule Change**
May 30 is an "asynchronous" day of learning at Huguenot High School. Students from all grade levels are not to come to school that day since the building will be closed. The last day of school is May 31 as students are expected to attend school in person that day.
