** Wear Blue Monday 10/7 for Bullying Prevention Month**
**PSAT DAY is Wednesday, Oct. 9th** Students will be in 1st period class for most of the morning.
Juniors should get a good night sleep and prepare for testing in the morning.
**SOL Testing Days**
Writing SOL assessment to 12th-grade term grad students is Thursday, October 24th, and Friday, October 25th promptly at 9:15 AM
Make-up Writing SOL assessments for 12th-grade term grad students will be Monday, October 28th, and Tuesday, October 29th. Testing will start promptly at 9:15 AM.
Writing SOLs for all 10th and 11th-grade students who are currently enrolled in English is Wednesday, October 30th, and Thursday, October 31st. Testing will start promptly at 9:15 AM.
Make-up Writing SOL assessments for all 10th & 11th-grade students currently enrolled in Englishwill be Wednesday, November 6th, and Thursday, November 7th. Testing will start promptly at 9:15 AM.
** Parking Passes**
Signage for students to sign up for parking passes will be placed in hallways by the end of the school day on Monday. We will share more information during our mid-week communication.
**Homecoming Reminder**
Homecoming week will be the week of Oct. 21 with the game on Friday, Oct. 25, and the dance will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26.
**Caregiver Conferences** will take place on November 7, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Signup information will be coming.
**Late Bus Tickets** Students who ride a bus that arrives late are excused from a tardy to school. We will be issuing "tickets" to students getting off of late buses as they arrive. Students are to carry these tickets with them to breakfast and show it to the breakfast line to get access to food after 8:55 am, Students will then carry their late bust tickets to class and hand it to their teachers when coming into the classroom to be counted as "excused".
Students who do not ride the bus and arrive late to school will not have access to the breakfast line and will be counted tardy to school if not in class by 9:00 am. Excessive tardiness will result in student interventions and progressive discipline up to, and including after-school detentions and possible assignment to restorative day.
