⚠️Critical Reminders

  • Graduation Rehearsals: Attendance is mandatory for both dates.

  • Graduation Tickets: You will receive your graduation tickets on May 20 at the conclusion of the final rehearsal.

  • Field Trip: For those attending the Busch Gardens trip on May 15, please be prompt and meet in the auditorium at 10:30 AM for check-in and departure.

This week has three major events: SOL Block Testing, Rising 9th Grade Night, and Teacher Appreciation Week. 

SOL TESTING: This week, all day. 

Open House for Students Entering 9th Grade  All 8th graders (also called rising 9th graders) who will attend Huguenot High School for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to the Huguenot High School Rising Falcons Open House. It will be on May 7 from 5 to 7 PM at Huguenot High School.

Student Drop-Off/Pickup Traffic Change All pickups and drop-offs in the morning and afternoon must happen in our special line. This line is the second left turn off Coleman Road.

Test Preparation and Seat Hours You can now get tutoring and prepare for tests online. This also counts as seat time for students who need it. Tutoring is not only in person after school. Please click this document to see the specific times, places, and links for tutoring in each subject.

This year's Prom, called Arabian Nights, is tonight! Friday, April 17, 2026 starting at 7:00 PM at Four Points by Sheraton Richmond: 9901 Midlothian Turnpike.

Synchronous Learning Day, April 21
Students will not come to school on April 21 but will have a synchronous day, meaning they are to log into each of their class ​Google Meets on a reduced schedule. Students should bring home their Chromebooks and chargers the evening of Monday, April 20, and follow the posted schedule. Teachers' Google Meets will be posted in their Canvas accounts and/or ​communicated over ​ParentSquare. Students must attend their classes with their cameras on.

9 AM-11 AM Synchronous Instruction (30 minutes each block)

SAT Day for Juniors is on Tuesday, April 14. Juniors must arrive at school at 9:00 a.m. They need a charged Chromebook and a writing utensil.

We have posted the SOL test schedule. Students must check their email often during these weeks. They might get personal updates about their testing schedules.

Open House for Students Entering 9th Grade
Attention rising 9th graders who live in the Huguenot High School area. All 8th graders (also called rising 9th graders) who will go to Huguenot High School for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to the Huguenot High School Rising Falcons Open House. It will be on May 7 from 5 to 7 PM at Huguenot High School.
The event will include:

  • Student Performances
  • A talk from counselors about classes and what is needed to graduate.
  • A talk from the administration about high school expectations.
  • School tours led by our Student Cooperative Association (SCA) and Corazon Latino clubs.
  • Free tours of the building. Staff from different departments, clubs, and programs will be there to answer your questions.

We hope to see you at Huguenot High School on May 7 from 5 PM to 7 PM.
